HV U SEEN THE GOLDEN RAYS FRM HEAVEN ? I HV !
oh gdness :D life nvr felt tt gd (: woke up feeling like it'd be a grt day (: no kdding abt tt (: went to sch lsns flew by quick (: twelve came n i was feeling nervous :D n felt ok pretty soon. miss sia came (: prac a lil set off for sch at arnd 4+ (: felt jittery there (: thn was ok. went into this rm to prac (: felt rly reassured after tt (: realised i cld memorise so much more than i thot i cld (: some were so nervous they cried :/ wasnt feeling confident n anxious to get up onto tt stage :D thn we waited outside for our turn. queenstown was playing before us. thn our turn to up on stage (: was smiling :D whistles frm irritating guys. thn we went up n did our thg (: we were a lot more expressive than usual (: miss sia was smiling after we played so i reckoned we didnt play too bad (: made a few blunders heh (: but still went on smoothly (: was super super satisfied whn we got off stage ((((: not the performance itself cos ive played better. but it was the experience ((: thn we went to our seats (: nat was crying qt bad cos she said she screwed up a lot :/ she wldnt stop crying :/ but was ok later on. waited for our results rly anxiously ! was squeezing nat's hand so tight :D haha especially whn it came to band number 140 :D we are band 148 u see. thn squeezed nat's hand tighter n tighter n was squeezing my eyes shut harder n harder too :D thn it came to our turn. she said, "band number 148. CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School. (pause)" n i was squeezing nat's hand like mad n thinking, "no silver.. no silver!" n she said, "gold." thn i felt myself spring to my feet n scream n cry n laugh n jump all at the same time :D thn i turned n hugged nat screaming oh may gawd we got gold n jumped with everyone else :D they had to remind us to becareful to not topple over :/ cos we occupied two rows n were hugging each other up n down :D haha oh my gawd the feeling was so exhilirating u wont udstd how we felt until u are one of us (: it's like no gold since 1990 ! gawd.. i wish i cld turn back time n live through this whole experience agn this whol prac since dec 04 right to the walking out of miss sia frm us, the scratches n dents to my trombone, the anxiety n yellow (gold!) rose give aways (: the trip to sch, the tears n screams of joy and the snsb cheer we screamed with all the passion n love in the concert hall which resonated n got everyone staring at us (: i want it all agn (: the trip back to sch was beautiful (: we were singing our parts in the bus (: both el camino n singapore rhapsody (: n whn we were back in sch we went insane :D we were like, "i want to GOLD to the toilet, want to GOLD with me ?" :D called ppl to tell thm abt the gorgeous news (: thn went to the kfc in amk to celebrate HAHA :D we were making so much noise.. :D but we were too happy to care :D took pics.. (: enjoyed the day tremendously (: i wld NEVER exchange this experience for ANYTHG (: i love snsb n im joining band in jc (:
